HOW THE BABAJI ANNAI TEMPLE CAME INTO BEING
Each word of Babaji carries a million meanings — this Temple is one of them.”
The Glimpse of Oneness
On a sacred full moon day, I entered the Sannidhan of Mahavatar Babaji. As I beheld him in pure white attire, for a moment I saw the entire universe dissolve into Oneness. In that instant, all desires of the senses were silenced before him. What remained was the truth: “The senses may seek many, but the soul seeks only the One.”
The Sacred Dedication
In that moment of revelation, I dedicated all my material possessions to building the Mahavatar Babaji ShivaShakthi Peetam. From that day, unseen guidance carried the work forward, and today the Peetam stands close to completion — a living testament to Babaji’s grace.
Temple & Vision
It will house:
- Lord Ganesha, Goddess Saraswathi, Sri Dakshinamurthy, Shanmukha, Lord Kubera, Lord Ayappa, Yoga Hanuman, Nataraja (all in pure marble or special five metals)
- Mahavatar Babaji & Annai Nagalakshmi as ShivaShakthi (special five-metal Vigraham)
- Babaji–Annai, Saptha Rishi–Siddha Mandalam - Encompassing the divine presence of over 200 deities.
- Para ShivaShakthi Banalingam & Sri Chakra Maha Meru
- Navagraha Shanthi Yantra (pure brass)
- Huge Temple Bell, Arrival Announcement Gong
- Portraits of 18 Siddhas, Babaji, and Annai Nagalakshmi
Dreams Transformed by Grace
Before this turning point, I had other dreams — to build a caravan, to travel at leisure, and even to complete a world tour with Kriya Mataji. With these desires lingering in my heart, I entered Babaji’s presence, seeking silent approval. Yet my simple prayers were transformed. Babaji turned my personal aspirations into a higher mission of sacred service, consecrating the Peetam for generations to come.
The Revelation of 2005
In 2005, Babaji revealed that I was destined to build an Ashram and Temple, assuring me that when the time was right, funds would flow. At first, I thought my earnings were for me and that Babaji would separately provide for the Temple. But later I realized that it was Māyā veiling my vision. What I earned itself was Babaji’s gift — the source of funds entrusted for this sacred project.
Truly, in a single word of Babaji, a million meanings are hidden. Each unfolds only when the disciple is ready to understand.
Invocation to Mahavatar Babaji
O Babaji, Eternal Master,
You who transform desires into sacred service,
All that I earn, all that I hold, all that I am —
Let it flow back to you as an offering of love
May this ShivaShakthi Peetam shine as your grace embodied,
a light for seekers yet to come,
a place where the soul remembers the One
I bow at your lotus feet, and in that bowing,
I find peace eternal.
